Company Background

HunniCo is a small company with big plans to rattle the beverage industry. They have created two unique brands of sparkling beverages consisting of just water, honey, and natural fruit.  Their two drinks are called Hunniwater Kindness and Hunniwater Detox and they are currently being sold at a variety of retail stores and online.  At the moment, they are operating out of their flagship store in Edmonds, WA (below) where they both sell products and house their own private innovation lab and bottling line.  Their vision, however is national distribution and full scale production.

HunniCo is a family run business headed by the vision of Karin Butler.  She has 10+ years of experience in the beverage industry working on everything from initial concept to supply chain management.  Around Karin is a close team of advisors and business professionals helping to create the company vision.

HunniCo’s Two Beverages

The company has created two distinct beverages that have now entered the sparkling beverage space.  They are:

  1. Hunniwater Kindness – A blend of sparkling honey water and a splash of your favorite fruit.
  2. Hunniwater Detox – The perfect combination of dark and rich honey with a list of detoxifying ingredients.

In initial testing trials, the drinks received “overwhelmingly positive” feedback across all flavor options.  In addition, both drinks are gearing up for national distribution with this round of funding.


The Future of HunniCo

HunniCo’s overarching goal is to maximize distribution and reach 30,000 stores nationwide.  In addition, they plan to continue adding to their beverage line in order to continue expanding existing channels.

Sparkling beverages are more and more becoming a staple to many American households and there is a potentially expanding market here.  Recently big chains such as Whole Foods have actively pushed these beverages and now they are even being sold at gas stations.

If HunniCo can ramp up production with this round of funding then they have a good shot at hitting a growing health-focused market.  That in mind, this is where they currently see their biggest opportunities in retail distribution.

What Interested Investors Need to Know

HunniCo has developed two products which are already being sold in stores and online.  That’s a great starting point when viewing the company from an investment perspective.  In addition, they have retail partnerships with Safeway, Albertsons, Kroger (QFC), Amazon, and more.  If the products maintain a high level of demand and production is able to ramp up, HunniCo could be looking at some large purchase orders.
